Our song!

Because my group has been paired up with a College band, we do not have the privilege to choose what ever song we want, instead our band have a particular song that they knew and can play well. In this case, our band called "House" are very good at playing New found glory's version of Kiss me. My group are very pleased with this song choice as we feel there are quite a lot of creative things to do with it. Its also quite a popular song, with it's other version from "Sixpence none the richer" so it's accessible to all.

Lyrics to 'Kiss Me'
Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
I'll wear those shoes and you will wear that dress.

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me

Kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
So kiss me
So kiss me
So kiss me
